Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile complex general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Manage full-cycle accounts payable/receivable including vendor invoicing, client billing, and collection processes
- Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit/loss analyses
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with federal/state tax regulations
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls for financial operations
- Collaborate with CPAs during audits and tax preparation
- Utilize QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel functions for financial modeling
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/CMA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience with multi-entity companies
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and IRS tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage month-end closing processes
- Exceptional analytical skills with error-detection capabilities
- Strong communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
