Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ small business clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance filings
- Assist with month-end closing and audit preparation
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
- Collaborate with CPAs on tax planning and advisory services
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Associate's degree in Accounting or equivalent certification
- Proven experience with multi-client accounting systems
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and California tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Professional Bookkeeper (PB) certification preferred
