Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets and income statements
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and ensure timely vendor payments
- Process payroll and tax filings for multiple clients using QuickBooks Online
- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Assist with audits and provide financial reports to stakeholders
- Implement and improve bookkeeping processes for operational efficiency
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Expertise in month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IRS tax regulations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple client portfolios simultaneously
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, AAP) highly desirable
