The Role:
We are looking for an individual who thrives on accuracy and efficiency to oversee our daily financial transactions and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
- Process and track accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Review and approve expense reports for accuracy and compliance.
- Reconcile credit card statements and ensure all financial data is up-to-date.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Accountant.
- Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online or Xero.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
