Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 small business clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and payroll accounts with 99% accuracy
- Handle accounts payable/receivable, sales tax filings, and payroll processing
- Implement and maintain efficient accounting systems for new clients
- Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to clients
- Collaborate with tax professionals during quarterly reviews
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data analysis
- Proven track record of managing multi-client portfolios
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and New Mexico tax regulations
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation highly valued
- Exceptional communication skills for client consultations
- Experience with construction or retail accounting a plus
