Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous accuracy
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll cycles
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Oversee bank reconciliations and cash flow management
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls
- Collaborate with CPA firms during tax season
- Train junior staff on accounting software and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Expertise in GAAP principles and financial reporting
- Experience with multi-entity accounting systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- CPA or candidate preferred
