Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform accurate bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations monthly.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and support the audit process.
- Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
- Maintain and organize financial documentation and general ledger entries.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive bookkeeping experience in a professional environment.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Experience with Xero is a plus.
- Understanding of GAAP and basic tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
