Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for internal stakeholders and external auditors.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Perform variance analysis and assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Ensure strict compliance with GAAP, federal, state, and local regulations.
- Utilize advanced Excel functions to analyze financial trends and support decision-making.
- Maintain organized filing systems for all financial documents and transactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification or CMA designation is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proven proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliation, and auditing standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently in a night shift environment.
