Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with precision
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and cash flow optimization
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance
- Implement and improve accounting systems and controls
- Collaborate with auditors during financial reviews
- Provide financial insights to support business decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience in Boston market
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- CPA certification or equivalent strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience with multi-entity accounting
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and MA tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
