Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using Xero and QuickBooks
- Process multi-currency transactions and reconcile bank accounts
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Prepare monthly management reports and VAT submissions
- Lead quarterly audits and ensure HMRC compliance
- Implement financial controls and process improvements
- Train junior bookkeepers on accounting best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience in UK/EU market
- AAT/CIMA/ACCA qualification or equivalent
- Advanced proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and Excel
- Expert knowledge of UK GAAP and VAT regulations
- Experience with multi-currency accounting systems
- Proven track record of managing client relationships
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
