Responsibilities
- Manage daily, monthly, and year-end accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and general ledger accounts with high precision.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes and ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
- Process payroll accurately and ensure all tax filings are completed on time.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax preparers during tax season.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar financial role (3+ years preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in data entry and reporting.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional certification (CPA, CMA, etc.).
