Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 client portfolios using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit/loss reports
- Process payroll bi-weekly using ADP and reconcile tax filings
- Handle accounts payable/receivable with 3-way matching protocols
- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies within 48 hours
- Assist with annual audits and provide supporting documentation
- Implement internal controls for financial data integrity
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience in public accounting
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (VBA skills a plus)
- Knowledge of nonprofit/government accounting standards
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines with 100% accuracy
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Active CPA license or eligibility to sit for exam
