Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow operations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry-specific regulations
- Oversee payroll processing and tax filings for diverse client portfolios
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks Pro)
- Lead month-end closing procedures and audit support
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification preferred
- Demonstrated experience with multi-state payroll compliance
- Exceptional analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills for client interactions
