Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 small business clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit/loss analyses
- Process payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial compliance
- Collaborate with CPA firms during tax season and audits
- Train clients on accounting software best practices
- Generate customized financial reports for business decision-making
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with VBA knowledge
- Experience with multi-entity accounting and sales tax filings
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a client-facing role
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero)
- Texas business license or CPA certification
