Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile bank accounts monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll cycles
- Generate financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheets) for executive review
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks cloud-based accounting systems
- Conduct month-end closing procedures and variance analysis
- Collaborate with auditors during annual financial reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping in mid-size organizations
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and IRS compliance requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
