Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 high-net-worth clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and bank reconciliations
- Coordinate with auditors and ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
- Maintain organized digital archives of financial documents
- Provide training to junior bookkeepers on accounting best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in full-cycle bookkeeping
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (PivotTables/VLOOKUP)
- Strong understanding of sales tax regulations in Illinois
- Proven ability to manage high-volume transactions accurately
- Certification in QuickBooks Online or Xero required
- Experience with multi-currency accounting for international clients
