Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile multi-entity accounts using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Prepare monthly financial statements with variance analysis
- Manage AP/AR cycles and optimize cash flow for 15+ clients
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with NY labor regulations
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Implement internal controls and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance + 5+ years bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Xero and Excel
- CPA or EA certification preferred
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
