Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 small to medium businesses
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and investment portfolios monthly
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Process payroll and tax filings for Louisiana-based clients
- Implement and maintain QuickBooks Online systems
- Assist with audits and tax preparation coordination
- Generate customized financial reports for client decision-making
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification required
- Expertise in Louisiana sales tax compliance
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Proven experience with multi-entity accounting
- Strong communication skills for client interactions
- Attention to detail with error detection abilities
