- Reconcile complex account discrepancies and resolve payment disputes within SLA
- Collaborate with sales and finance teams to implement new billing strategies
- Generate monthly revenue reports and KPI dashboards for executive review
- Audit and optimize billing workflows to reduce DSO by 15%
- Train junior staff on billing procedures and compliance standards
- Implement process improvements using Lean Six Sigma methodologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in medical/enterprise billing with high-volume transaction processing
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle NetSuite/SAP preferred)
- Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) or equivalent credential
- Expertise in revenue recognition principles (ASC 606) and SOX compliance
- Proven track record of reducing billing errors below 0.5%
- Strong analytical skills with experience in billing analytics tools
- Exceptional communication skills for stakeholder negotiations
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
