Responsibilities
- Process and submit insurance claims for medical services with 99% accuracy
- Resolve billing discrepancies and denials within 5 business days
- Conduct regular audits of patient accounts and billing codes
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure documentation supports billing codes
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and payer regulations
- Generate monthly revenue cycle reports for leadership review
- Train staff on updated billing policies and procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Proficiency in Epic or NextGen EHR systems
- Advanced knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with claim denial resolution and appeals
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
