- Train staff on billing protocols and regulatory updates (CMS, HIPAA)
- Collaborate with insurance carriers to resolve complex payment discrepancies
- Generate quarterly revenue cycle performance reports for leadership
- Maintain 99.7% billing accuracy across 5,000+ monthly transactions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience with commercial and government payers
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) credential
- Expertise in CPT/ICD-10 coding and CMS-1500 forms
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and billing analytics tools
- Demonstrated success in reducing denial rates and improving cash flow
- Experience with EHR implementation and optimization
