Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end revenue cycle operations including charge entry, claims submission, and payment posting
- Resolve complex insurance claim denials through systematic analysis and appeals
- Conduct monthly reconciliations for AR accounts and patient statements
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure accurate coding (CPT/ICD-10) and documentation
- Implement process improvements using Epic EMR and DenialMax systems
- Maintain HIPAA compliance in all billing operations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience in multi-specialty practice
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification required
- Expertise in UB-04 and CMS-1500 claim forms
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and billing software (Epic preferred)
- Strong analytical skills for denial resolution and revenue recovery
- Excellent communication skills for patient and insurer interactions
