Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes including invoicing, payment posting, and collections
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers and resolve discrepancies
- Collaborate with sales teams on contract terms and billing adjustments
- Generate monthly financial reports and revenue forecasts
- Implement process improvements to reduce billing errors
- Train junior staff on billing protocols and software
- Ensure compliance with SOX and GAAP regulations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in medical/technical billing
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and NetSuite ERP systems
- Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) preferred
- Expert knowledge of healthcare billing regulations (HIPAA, CMS)
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
