Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end medical billing processes including charge entry, claim submission, and payment posting
- Resolve insurance claim denials and patient billing inquiries with exceptional customer service
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS regulations, and payer-specific requirements
- Analyze billing reports to identify trends and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with clinical teams to verify accuracy of patient records and coding
- Reconcile accounts receivable and resolve outstanding balances
- Train staff on billing software updates and compliance protocols
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with insurance claim expertise
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Proficiency in Epic, Medisoft, or similar EHR/billing systems
- Strong knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding and payer policies
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to handle sensitive financial data with confidentiality
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills required
- Associate's degree in healthcare administration or related field
