Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes including invoice generation, payment application, and account reconciliation
- Resolve complex billing discrepancies with clients and internal departments using analytical problem-solving
- Optimize revenue cycle through proactive accounts receivable management and collections strategies
- Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to ensure contract terms are accurately reflected in billing
- Implement continuous improvements to billing workflows using Salesforce CPQ and NetSuite
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls and industry-specific billing regulations (HIPAA/PCI-DSS)
- Generate monthly revenue reports and KPI dashboards for executive leadership
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive billing experience in SaaS or healthcare sectors
- Expert proficiency in Salesforce CPQ and NetSuite billing modules
- Certification in Billing Operations (CBO) or Accounts Receivable Management preferred
- Demonstrated ability to resolve complex billing disputes exceeding $50K
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and financial modeling
- Experience with multi-currency billing and international compliance requirements
- Exceptional written communication skills for client-facing correspondence
- Proven track record of reducing DSO by 20%+ through process optimization
