Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end medical billing processes for complex insurance claims
- Resolve billing discrepancies and patient account issues within SLAs
- Analyze A/R reports to identify and reduce claim denials
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure accurate coding (ICD-10/CPT)
- Conduct insurance verification and pre-authorization procedures
- Prepare monthly billing reports for executive review
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Expertise in insurance claim resolution and denial management
- Proficient with Epic, NextGen, or similar EHR billing modules
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC credentials preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to financial detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for patient/provider interactions
