- Train junior staff on billing compliance protocols
- Implement CPT/ICD-10 coding updates quarterly
- Collaborate with clinical teams to document charge-capture accuracy
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience with commercial insurance payers
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC-A credential required
- Expert proficiency in Epic Revenue Cycle or similar EHR systems
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Proven track record of reducing AR days by 20%+
- Familiarity with NYS Medicaid and Medicare billing regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or Finance preferred
