- Resolve billing discrepancies through payer negotiations
- Train junior staff on billing protocols
- Implement CPT/ICD-10 coding updates
- Conduct monthly financial audits
- Collaborate with patient services department
- Optimize billing workflows for efficiency
Qualifications
- 5+ years medical billing experience
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential
- Expertise in Epic and NextGen EHR systems
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and CMS regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables
- Experience with Medicaid/Medicare billing
- Proven dispute resolution track record
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare finance preferred
