- Analyze claim denials and implement corrective actions
- Oversee insurance verification and authorization processes
- Reconcile accounts receivable monthly with 99.5% accuracy
- Train junior billing staff on compliance protocols
- Collaborate with finance teams on revenue forecasting
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience in California
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential required
- Expertise in CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
- Advanced proficiency in Epic and Athenahealth systems
- California Medi-Cal and Medicare billing experience
- BS in Healthcare Administration or Finance
