- Resolve complex billing discrepancies through direct payer communication
- Analyze aging reports and implement collection strategies
- Collaborate with clinical departments to ensure accurate documentation
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant billing records and audit trails
- Train staff on billing software updates and regulatory changes
- Generate monthly KPI reports for leadership review
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience with commercial and government payers
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential required
- Expertise in Epic or NextGen EHR systems
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and billing analytics tools
- Demonstrated success in reducing AR days by 25%+
- Strong knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding regulations
- Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation skills
