- Resolve billing discrepancies and denials through detailed analysis and appeals
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and billing regulations
- Collaborate with clinical teams to verify coding accuracy and documentation
- Generate monthly billing reports and KPI dashboards for leadership
- Train junior staff on billing software and compliance updates
- Conduct quarterly audits of billing processes for efficiency
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Expertise in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
- Proficiency in Epic EMR and Medisoft billing software
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification required
- Advanced knowledge of insurance claim adjudication processes
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong written communication for patient correspondence
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or Finance preferred
