Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes including invoice generation, payment posting, and account reconciliation
- Resolve billing discrepancies and client inquiries with exceptional communication skills
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure accurate contract-to-cash workflows
- Prepare and analyze billing reports for financial forecasting and compliance
- Maintain compliance with healthcare billing regulations (HIPAA) and internal audit standards
- Optimize billing procedures to improve efficiency and reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding)
- Train staff on billing systems and process updates
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in medical or corporate billing with proven accuracy
- Proficiency in Epic, Meditech, or advanced billing software (e.g., QuickBooks)
- Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) or equivalent credential preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with experience in pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Deep understanding of revenue cycle management and insurance claim processing
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
