Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market data to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments for loan committee reviews
- Monitor existing credit portfolios and identify potential risk mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with sales teams to structure optimal financing solutions
- Ensure compliance with federal and state lending regulations
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with banking partners and industry stakeholders
- Contribute to process improvements in credit analysis workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 1-3 years of credit analysis or underwriting experience
- Proficiency in financial modeling software and Excel (VBA preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of FICO scoring and credit bureau reports
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Credit Analyst Certification (CCE) or willingness to obtain within 6 months
