Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile complex medical/insurance claims with 99% accuracy
- Manage A/R aging reports and implement collection strategies
- Collaborate with insurance providers to resolve billing discrepancies
- Train junior billing staff on compliance protocols
- Optimize billing workflows using Epic EMR and SAP systems
- Conduct quarterly audits for HIPAA/GRC compliance
- Prepare executive dashboards on KPIs: Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), claim denial rates
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience in a hospital/health system
- Certified Billing & Coding Specialist (CBCS) required
- Advanced proficiency in Epic Resolute and SAP modules
- Expert knowledge of CPT/HCPCS codes and Medicare/Medicaid guidelines
- Proven track record reducing DSO by 15%+
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or Finance
- Experience with RCM (Revenue Cycle Management) optimization
