Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end revenue cycle processes including charge capture, claim submission, and payment posting
- Resolve billing discrepancies and denials through strategic payer negotiations
- Ensure HIPAA/FDCPA compliance in all billing operations
- Generate monthly revenue reports and KPI dashboards for leadership
- Collaborate with clinical teams to document accurate chargeable services
- Train junior staff on billing systems and compliance protocols
- Implement process improvements using Epic EMR and Medisoft platforms
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience with commercial insurance payers
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC credentials required
- Expertise in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
- Advanced proficiency in Epic Resolute and Denial Management workflows
- Proven success in reducing DSO by 25%+ through process optimization
- Strong analytical skills with experience in revenue cycle analytics
- Ability to manage high-volume accounts while maintaining 99% accuracy
- BA in Healthcare Administration or Finance preferred
