Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly financial statements and general ledger accounts.
- Assist with year-end tax preparations and local tax filings.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions with precision.
- Provide ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis to management.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems for financial records.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a part-time capacity.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings or weekends if required.
