Responsibilities
- Financial Data Entry: Process daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, with 100% accuracy.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform weekly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure all records match financial statements.
- Payroll Processing: Manage and calculate payroll for the weekend workforce, ensuring timely and compliant disbursements.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and generate monthly financial reports and trial balances for management review.
- Expense Management: Review and categorize expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies and tax regulations.
- Software Management: Maintain and update financial software systems, including QuickBooks and Excel spreadsheets.
- Client Communication: Liaise with internal teams and external clients to resolve discrepancies and answer financial inquiries.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (Advanced formulas, pivot tables).
- Schedule Availability: Must be available to work specific Weekend Shifts as required.
- Remote Work: Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home office space.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Certification: CPAs, CMAs, or Certified Bookkeepers are highly preferred.
