Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end revenue cycle processes including claim submission, payment posting, and account reconciliation
- Resolve billing discrepancies and patient inquiries with exceptional service
- Analyze denial trends and implement corrective actions for 95%+ clean claim rate
- Collaborate with clinical departments to ensure accurate charge capture and documentation
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and adhere to payer-specific billing requirements
- Train junior staff on billing protocols and system utilization
Qualifications
- 5+ years of healthcare billing experience with CPT/ICD-10 coding expertise
- Proficiency in Epic, Meditech, or similar EHR billing modules
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or RHIA/RHIT credentials preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Washington state Medicaid and Medicare guidelines
- Experience with third-party payer negotiations and appeals processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to 0.1% accuracy in financial reporting
