Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile complex general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure audit readiness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Streamline financial reporting processes and implement automation solutions
- Act as primary contact for external auditors during financial examinations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel with VBA skills
- Demonstrated expertise in SOX compliance and internal controls frameworks
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Strong communication skills for presenting financial insights to stakeholders
- Proven track record of process improvement and financial system optimization
