Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes including invoice generation, payment application, and account reconciliations
- Resolve complex billing discrepancies through direct client communication and cross-departmental collaboration
- Analyze aging reports and implement collection strategies to optimize cash flow
- Utilize SAP and Salesforce to maintain accurate billing records and ensure compliance with SOX standards
- Train junior staff on billing procedures and process improvements
- Partner with Sales and Operations teams to resolve pricing discrepancies and contract terms
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of progressive billing or accounts receivable experience
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) or similar certification preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in financial data
- Excellent communication abilities for client-facing negotiations
- Experience in healthcare or SaaS billing environments highly desirable
