Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing cycles for 500+ healthcare clients using Epic and Meditech systems
- Resolve complex insurance claim denials and patient account discrepancies
- Generate monthly revenue reports and variance analyses for executive leadership
- Collaborate with coding departments to ensure accurate CPT/ICD-10 assignment
- Train junior staff on billing compliance protocols and HIPAA regulations
- Implement process improvements to reduce DSO by 15% quarterly
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Healthcare Administration
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with commercial payers
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with VLOOKUP and pivot table skills
- Demonstrated success reducing claim rejection rates below 5%
- Experience with revenue cycle automation tools (e.g., Waystar, Change Healthcare)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to 4+ decimal places
