Responsibilities
- Process complex transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments with 100% accuracy
- Identify and cross-sell financial products (credit cards, loans, investment options) based on customer needs
- Resolve account discrepancies and customer inquiries with empathy and professionalism
- Conduct daily cash drawer balancing and adhere to strict audit protocols
- Maintain compliance with banking regulations (BSA, AML, Reg CC)
- Train junior tellers on new systems and procedures
- Support branch initiatives to improve customer satisfaction metrics
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in retail banking or customer service
- Proven ability to manage cash transactions with zero discrepancies
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and security protocols
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse clientele
- Proficiency in banking software (e.g., Fiserv, Jack Henry)
- Associate's degree in Finance/Business preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including Saturdays
- Fingerprinting and background check required
