Responsibilities
- Execute complex financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, wire transfers, and currency exchanges
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through personalized financial guidance
- Identify and cross-sell banking products (loans, credit cards, investment options)
- Resolve customer inquiries and disputes with exceptional problem-solving skills
- Maintain strict compliance with banking regulations and security protocols
- Train and mentor junior tellers on operational procedures
- Balance cash drawers and prepare daily reconciliation reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of cash handling experience in financial services
- Proven track record in customer relationship management
- Proficiency with banking software (e.g., FIS, Jack Henry)
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- New York State banking license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including Saturdays
