Responsibilities
- Process complex transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments with 100% accuracy
- Resolve customer inquiries regarding accounts, services, and digital banking tools
- Identify cross-selling opportunities for credit products, insurance, and investment services
- Maintain strict adherence to regulatory compliance protocols (BSA, AML)
- Train junior tellers on branch procedures and customer service standards
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions
- Contribute to branch goals by promoting financial literacy initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of cash handling experience in banking or retail
- Proven track record in exceeding sales targets
- Proficiency with core banking software (e.g., Fiserv, Jack Henry)
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards
- Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to multitask efficiently during peak banking hours
- Valid NC Notary Public commission preferred
- Associate degree in Finance or related field preferred
