Responsibilities
- Process complex transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments with precision
- Build lasting customer relationships through personalized financial guidance and product recommendations
- Resolve customer inquiries and disputes efficiently while maintaining regulatory compliance
- Actively cross-sell banking products (checking accounts, credit cards, loans) to meet customer needs
- Balance cash drawer daily and adhere to strict internal controls and security protocols
- Maintain accurate transaction records and assist with branch audits
- Mentor junior tellers and support branch operations during peak hours
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of bank teller or cash handling experience
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations (Reg CC, BSA, AML)
- Proven ability to handle high transaction volumes while maintaining accuracy
- Exceptional customer service skills with ability to de-escalate situations
- Proficiency in banking software (e.g., Fiserv, Jack Henry)
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and mathematical aptitude
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
