Responsibilities
- Process customer deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments with 100% accuracy
- Resolve complex account inquiries and escalate sensitive issues to branch managers
- Actively cross-sell banking products (credit cards, loans, savings accounts)
- Maintain cash drawer integrity and perform daily balancing procedures
- Train junior tellers on compliance protocols and operational best practices
- Implement anti-fraud detection measures during all transactions
- Support branch operations by assisting with vault management and audits
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of cash handling experience in banking or retail finance
- Proven track record in meeting sales targets for financial products
- Proficiency in core banking software (e.g., Fiserv, Jack Henry)
- FINRA Series 6 or 7 securities license preferred
- Exceptional knowledge of BSA/AML regulations and PCI-DSS compliance
- Ability to maintain composure during high-volume transaction periods
- Associate degree in Finance, Business, or related field required
