Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes including invoice verification, coding, and payment processing
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to ensure accurate payment cycles
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls and internal financial policies
- Prepare monthly AP reports for management review
- Lead month-end closing activities for accounts payable
- Manage vendor relationships and resolve payment issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounts payable experience
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance requirements
- Expertise in Excel with advanced formula and pivot table skills
- Proven ability to process high-volume transactions accurately
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA) preferred
