Responsibilities
- Process high-volume vendor invoices and ensure accurate payment cycles
- Reconcile AP sub-ledgers with general ledger accounts
- Manage 1099 vendor compliance and tax documentation
- Collaborate with procurement teams on vendor master data
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for AP workflows
- Lead month-end closing activities for accounts payable
- Train junior staff on AP processes and SAP systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years of accounts payable experience in a corporate setting
- Expertise in SAP and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/PivotTables)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
- Proven track record of reducing processing errors
- Professional certification (e.g., CAPP) preferred
- Experience with high-volume payment processing (>1000 invoices/month)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
