Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Process and track invoices, ensuring timely payments and collection.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Maintain and organize a digital and physical filing system for all financial documents.
- Assist with payroll preparation and bank deposits as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
