Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing finance team in San Antonio, Texas. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, ensuring seamless cash flow management and strong vendor relationships.

Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and proper authorization.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies efficiently.
- Prepare and issue payments via check, ACH, or wire transfer while maintaining accurate records.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures and financial reporting.
- Maintain up-to-date vendor files and manage the AP database.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external vendors regarding invoice status.
- Perform periodic audits of AP records to ensure data integrity.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks, or Oracle).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage a high volume of transactions.
- Knowledge of GAAP principles is a plus.
